Supporter liaison officer
Doncaster Rovers continues to enjoy a unique relationship with its dedicated and fantastic supporter base and as such the club recognise the invaluable contribution made by each and every supporter in the on-going success of the club.
Through the fan engagement programme In Rovers We Trust, the club has opened various outlets and channels of dialogue to make the club as accessible and open to its supporters as it can be.
As such, the ongoing supporter liaison officer (SLO) project has played a vital part in the communication flow that exists between both the club and its supporters in the last two years.
Throughout this season the SLOs work extensively both behind the scenes and on match days, communicating with both Doncaster Rovers fans and fans of other clubs on social media, message boards and email as well as meeting with several fans on match days and during the week.
The SLOs attend regular meetings with the senior staff at Doncaster Rovers and communicate feedback from supporters, as well as advising the club on decisions that may affect supporters.
WHO IS OUR SLO?
Dean Medcalf
Dean has been a season ticket holder for more than 20 years, attending almost every match with his grandad and cousin.
As a young supporter, he would stand on the main stand terrace at Belle Vue and has sat in the West Stand since the club moved to the Keepmoat Stadium in 2007.
One of his earliest memories as a Rovers supporter was at Belle Vue in the Macmillan Cup final when Ian Duerden lobbed the ball over the Farnborough 'keeper from the Popular Stand side of the ground.

If you are a supporter of the visiting team, you can check out the @DRFC_AWAY Twitter account where the SLOs will endeavor to supply you with all the information you require for your visit to the Eco-Power Stadium.
ON MATCH DAY
On match day, our SLO is present around the footprint of the stadium for approximately 90 minutes prior to kick off. Please feel free to approach Dean with any feedback or questions you may have. Our SLO wear official club polo shirts/jackets emblazoned with ‘SLO’ so they are easy to spot.
During the game Dean is generally based in the central area of the West Stand. If you cannot locate the SLO please contact your nearest steward and they will locate the SLO for you.
During half-time, the SLOs will be on the concourses and post-match can be found in the Belle Vue Bar.
